My Journey as a Science Educator
I'm Margaret, a retired NY and MA certified science teacher with a BS and MS in Science Education from CCNY. My passion for science began at age five, inspired by my grandfather, who was Editor-in-Chief of the Chemical Engineering News in the 1940s and 1950s.
Teaching Experience
Over the past 45 years, I've taught science at all grade levels, from K to 12. As an adjunct professor at Massasoit Community College in Brockton, MA, I taught General Chemistry 1 and 2, including labs. At the high school level, I taught AP Chemistry and Honors Chemistry, preparing students for the SAT and AP Chemistry exams.
